Swedrive Gearboxes

Over the past fifteen years Swedrive have become on of the largest producers of worm gearbox and spindle lift unit.

Today the Swedrive worm gear products cover a wide range of sizes, with centre distances up to 125mm.
Thanks to the unique shape of the housing, their gear units make a wide variety of installations possible.

The special design of the drive makes it particularly strong and ensures problem free operations even under the most severe conditions.
All units are available in various mountings:-
Single or Double output shaft
Hollow output
Foot mounted
Under or over driven
A separate flange is also available for all units.

Worm gears available range from:
DF33
Ratios from 5:1 to 47:1
Input power from 0.06Kw to 0.70Kw

through to
F240
Ratios from 28:1 to 392:1
Input power from 0.06Kw to 8.7Kw

With the exception of the DF33 and DV35, all units are driven by a curved tooth coupling or flexible coupling.
This enables the worm gear to be driven by various types of motors, with or without brakes. The units can be supplied with or without a motor. All units are available with IEC input flanges both B14 and B5.

In certain applications mounting a worm box can be difficult. Two different mounting bars are available for such situations. These can enable the unit to be wall mounted and if needed can bring the mounting fixing holes to be "outside" the gear casing.

Swedrive worm and wheel sets are also available in 8 sizes with centre distances of 33mm up to 125mm.
