Announcing Our 40th Year
Servicing Industry

1971 - 2011

N.E.T are pleased to announce that 2011 is our 40th successful year in business.

How we would have looked in 1971

Nottingham Electrical Transmissions are pleased to announce they will be celebrating 40 years in business in October 2011, thanks to the loyalty of their customers and employees.

N.E.T. is a second generation, family-owned industrial gearbox repair facility that has been serving industry since 1971. They started out as a small gearbox and motor repair centre, servicing mainly the lace and textile industry in and around Nottingham. As the need for quality maintenance increased, the business grew and prospered. Sadly in 1984 the founder Mr. Dennis Whatley passed away, and so daughter Denise Dale and nephew Duncan Moore took on the N.E.T tradition of industrial gearbox service excellence.

According to Duncan Moore, "N.E.T has prospered over the years because it was built on a good foundation. Certainly, much of our success comes from the trust and knowledge that our customers place in our abilities. I don’t believe we’d still be here today if it were not for the entire N.E.T team whose greatest joy is making sure customers are happy with our service. Even more, it makes me happy to know our reputation of integrity and honesty is why it is thriving today.
N.E.T takes great pleasure in making sure they provide personalised service to customers and a great working environment for their team.  Our team members continue to raise the bar in customer service and we’re thankful for each person’s contribution to the success of this business. Our experience is your Guarantee"

Finally.... just thank goodness fashions have changed since 1971.

On 16th July 2011 N.E.T held a party to celebrate this great achievement
with staff and customers.
The weather stayed good and a great night was had by all.
